The Asia Foundation is a nonprofit international development organization committed to improving lives across a dynamic and developing Asia-Pacific. Informed by six decades of experience and deep local expertise, their work across the region is focused on good governance, women’s empowerment and gender equality, inclusive economic growth, environment, and climate action, and regional and international relations. SDEAS and The Asia Foundation have been partnered since 2016 during the implementation of Fully Abled Nation and Youth Led programs.
SDEAS also partnered with The Asia Foundation for the EMERGE Project in 2023. Through this project, SOGIE trainings were given to various Deaf groups. A collection of FSL signs for SOGIE and LGBTQ+ were also collected and made available through the FSL Buddy App.
