Our partnership with DLSU-COSCA allows us to support one another in one of the most highlighted activities titled For the Kids (FTK). FTK is a specialized Mini-Olympics participated by Children with Special Needs (CSN) from various SPED centers in the metropolis. Since its inception in 1984, DLSU FTK has benefited more than 10,000 children with physical and intellectual challenges, and it has grown to be one of the biggest institutional social engagement events in DLSU. For the day, the kids aged 5-12 years old engage in fun-filled games and interactive activities with their assigned Ate or Kuya Volunteer/s coming from Lasallian community and partner institutions/sponsors. SDEAS Volunteers’ role is to be Ate/Kuya Volunteers, which will serve as brothers and sisters to the children for a day and will help them play and enjoy this memorable experience.
