
PAR Architecture’s “Ibaan Cultural and Sports Center,” conceptualized by De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (Benilde) architecture graduate Alysa Yvette Par, won the 2024 Asia’s Best Civic Building award at the Asia Architecture Design Awards (AADA). The project, inspired by the local weaving traditions of Ibaan, Batangas, was recognized for its design that merges tradition with innovation to create an iconic symbol of progress.
The project’s design is inspired by the traditional weaving styles of Ibaan, Batangas, and aims to serve as a visual representation of the community’s cultural pride and creativity.
