Three students from La Salle Barcelona will participate in an academic exchange program with the School of Management and Information Technology (SMIT) from January 17 to April 17, 2024. They will be enrolled in courses such as International Business, Digital Marketing, Sales Management, Entrepreneurial Management, Distribution Management, and Strategic Management.
An onboarding orientation was provided to the exchange students to guide them on school policies, the grading system, attendance requirements, and local culture. This orientation ensured a smooth academic and cultural transition, helping them adapt to Benilde’s learning environment and community values.
The exchange initiative promotes cross-cultural learning, academic collaboration, and global engagement, enriching the educational experience of both local and international students. By studying alongside Benildean learners, the visiting students gain insights into Asian business practices and cultural perspectives, while sharing their European approaches to management and innovation.
The program strengthens intercultural competence, communication skills, and adaptability, preparing students to navigate the complexities of the global marketplace and pursue international career opportunities.
