The Benilde Basketball Try-outs promote discipline, endurance, and self-improvement through structured athletic engagement. Participants develop physical fitness while cultivating determination, confidence, and sportsmanship. The try-outs create pathways for student-athletes to channel their energy into positive activities that contribute to overall wellness, teamwork, and leadership.
This year, there were two Deaf students who joined the tryouts for the tournament, assisted by our interpreters.

The Benilde Basketball Tournament serves as an inclusive sporting event that unites Deaf and hearing players through shared passion and friendly competition. The tournament encourages regular physical activity, promotes equality, and builds mutual respect and camaraderie. It also provides an avenue for students to enhance their self-esteem, teamwork, and communication skills, key contributors to mental and emotional well-being.
