Kawa Pilipinas is a collaborative institutional outreach initiative between the Benilde Center for Social Action (CSA) and Kawa Pilipinas that promotes food security and nutrition through community-based cooking and feeding activities. Volunteers from SDEAS actively participate by helping prepare and distribute nutritious meals while also raising awareness about proper nutrition and inclusion. This engagement demonstrates how Deaf individuals play an active role in addressing hunger and fostering compassion within communities. Through shared advocacy and service, the initiative supports the goal of ensuring access to sufficient and healthy food for all.
