The Benildean Educator’s Syllabus Training (BEST), facilitated by the CFAd–Curriculum Unit, focused on strengthening faculty competencies in syllabus design, structure, and alignment under the OBE framework. This training aimed to empower educators in crafting syllabi that are not only compliant but also engaging, learner-centered, and transparent in communicating course expectations and outcomes.
Participants from the School of Hotel, Restaurant, and Institution Management (SHRIM), School of Arts, Culture, and Performance (SACP), School of Diplomacy and Governance (SDG), School of Deaf Education and Applied Studies (SDEAS), and School of Management and Information Technology (SMIT) took part in the interactive sessions. The workshop provided practical strategies for defining clear learning outcomes, aligning assessments, and promoting effective course delivery.
Through BEST, Benilde continues to uphold its commitment to academic excellence and faculty development, ensuring that every syllabus reflects the institution’s pursuit of transformative, values-driven, and future-ready education.
