CARE: Curriculum Alignment and Refinement Exercise

To reinforce curriculum coherence and ensure alignment with Outcome-Based Education (OBE) principles, the CFAd–Curriculum Unit spearheaded CARE (Curriculum Alignment and Refinement Exercise) — a specialized workshop designed to revisit and enhance Program Specifications and syllabus.

Faculty and program representatives from the School of Deaf and Applied Studies, School of Diplomacy and Governance (SDG), School of Management and Information Technology (SMIT), School of Arts, Culture, and Performance (SACP), and School of Hotel, Restaurant, and Institution Management (SHRIM) actively participated in the session. They engaged in structured alignment activities, revising outcomes and refining assessments to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with CHED policies and institutional frameworks.

CARE embodies Benilde’s mission to continuously evolve its curricula; building programs that are relevant, outcomes-driven, and anchored on quality and innovation.
