[2024-2025] Program Revitalization and LIFE Annual Assembly 2025: Advancing Environmental Stewardship Through Collective Action

5-7 AUGUST 2025 – Leaders, educators, and sustainability champions from the Philippine network of De La Salle schools gathered at De La Salle Lipa’s Nexus Innovations Lab for the 2025 Program Revitalization and Lasallian Institute for the Environment (LIFE) Annual Assembly. The three-day event fostered meaningful discussions on climate education, biodiversity, food security, urban ecosystems, and nature-based solutions, emphasizing the role of educational institutions in building greener, more resilient, and sustainable communities.

The assembly concluded on August 7 with a mangrove seedling planting activity in Lagadlarin, Lobo, Batangas, featuring Bruguiera cylindrica, locally known as pototan, to support coastal protection and ecosystem restoration. LIFE Champions also participated in a coastal clean-up, reinforcing their shared commitment to marine conservation and responsible environmental practices.

Through knowledge-sharing and hands-on environmental action, the assembly strengthened collaboration among Lasallian schools in advancing environmental stewardship and sustainable development.
