On July 11, 2025, the Benilde Center for Built Environment and Logistics (CBEL), through the Built Environment Unit, conducted site scoping with the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) Rizal and Kapisanang Balik Kalikasan (KABALIKAT), a people’s organization based in Barangay San Jose, Antipolo, to identify potential reforestation sites under the One Million Trees & Beyond (OMTB) Program.
These activities strengthen collaboration with local environmental partners and community-based organizations in advancing reforestation, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable campus greening. Through the identification of potential off-campus planting sites, the initiative supports ecosystem restoration and Benilde’s continuing commitment to environmental stewardship.
