The third Innovation Hackathon, “Hack to the Future 3.0,” was held online via Zoom on January 30, 2026. Participants were challenged to develop innovative solutions under either of the two themes: “Enhancing the Benildean Experience” or “Optimizing Institutional Processes.” They were given 72 hours to develop and complete their proposed solutions.
Congratulations to Christian L. Merano (SMIT–BSIS), the winner of Hack to the Future 3.0! His winning proposal, “BENNYLIFE,” is a social media and collaboration platform designed to connect Benildeans across programs, enabling them to share ideas, discover collaborators, and work together on interdisciplinary projects. The proposal stood out for its innovative approach to connecting and fostering collaboration within the Benildean community.
