November 27, 2025 – Pride. Gratitude. Joy. Being the first in the family to earn a college degree often brings a powerful mix of pride, gratitude, and joy. It feels like breaking a barrier not just for oneself, but for the whole family. There’s relief in finally reaching the finish line, hope for new opportunities ahead, and a sense of responsibility to inspire and uplift others. Overall, it’s a deeply emotional and empowering milestone.
From humble beginnings to becoming an ETEEAP Benilde graduate in Hospitality and Luxury Management, the journey of Aniceto Conde Jr. or Toys is a powerful testament to resilience and triumph. Starting as a store helper, room attendant, and factory worker, the candidate learned the value of grit and service at an early age. Stepping into the world of hospitality, he mastered kitchen stations as a line cook and rose to excellence as a multi-awarded server at Ramen Nagi and eventually supporting new branch openings and training future staff. His courage to dream bigger led them to launch his own boneless chicken business in Taguig City, built from scratch through hard work, creativity, and determination.

And now, as the first in their family to earn a college degree, the feeling is nothing short of transformative. It is a mix of deep pride, gratitude, and joy, breaking barriers not only for themselves but for his entire family. There is relief in finally reaching a long-awaited milestone, hope for new opportunities that lie ahead, and a renewed sense of responsibility to inspire loved ones who look up to his journey. This success is more than a diploma; it is a symbol of empowerment, a testament that dreams are attainable, and a legacy that will echo through generations.
