October 22, 2025 — Benilde ETEEAP, through its Benilde ETEEAP Lifelong Learning Session Series (BETLLS), continues to provide opportunities for its candidates to remain competitive and aligned with evolving industry standards.

For the 1st Term of Academic Year 2025–2026, the Center for Lifelong Learning and Innovative Pathways (CLLIP) conducted a free two-day Masterclass in Luxury Management, facilitated by Dr. Kenneth D. Subillaga from the School of Hotel, Restaurant, and Institution Management.

This free masterclass equipped new ETEEAP candidates with essential knowledge on managing global luxury brands, understanding consumer behavior, and navigating the complexities of the rapidly evolving luxury industry. The session highlighted key competencies such as innovation, cultural intelligence, elevated customer experience, and strategic leadership, all crucial in today’s premium hospitality and luxury sectors.
This masterclass in luxury management also connects with several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In addition to SDG 4 (Quality Education), which it supports by providing accessible, high-quality, industry-aligned learning for adult professionals, it also advances SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by strengthening workforce competence and preparing future-ready leaders. Moreover, modern luxury programs increasingly integrate sustainability and ethical business practices, aligning with SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production). The discussion highlights how luxury brands are adapting to environmental concerns, supply chain transparency, and the growing consumer demand for sustainable, responsible, and socially conscious luxury products and experiences.
Through initiatives like this masterclass, Benilde ETEEAP reaffirms its commitment to inclusive, lifelong learning and to cultivating professionals who embody excellence, responsibility, and global awareness in the luxury and hospitality industries.
