De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with AsiaWorld Hospitality, the authorized representative of the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI), on May 8, 2025. The agreement marks a significant step in advancing Benilde’s commitment to providing world-class training and globally recognized certifications for its hospitality students and faculty.
This renewed collaboration underscores Benilde’s vision of aligning its School of Hotel, Restaurant, and Institution Management (SHRIM) programs with international standards in hospitality education. Through AsiaWorld Hospitality, students and educators will have access to AHLEI’s suite of globally respected certification programs—most notably the Certified Guest Service Professional (CGSP) credential, a hallmark of excellence in guest relations and service quality worldwide.
The signing ceremony also celebrated the remarkable achievements of Benilde’s faculty members who recently earned their Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE) and CGSP credentials. These milestones not only reflect the college’s investment in professional development but also reinforce its mission to cultivate industry-ready graduates guided by educators who embody the same high standards of excellence.
