De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) continues to expand its global education network through a promising partnership with Red River College Polytechnic (RRC Polytech) of Canada. On July 30, 2024, Sherlo Reyes, Director of the Center for External Linkages (CEL), met with Edy Lau, Internationalization Director of RRC Polytech, via Zoom to discuss the formalization of a collaborative agreement between the two institutions.
The meeting underscored both institutions’ shared commitment to academic excellence, mobility, and internationalization. The partnership will focus on key areas such as student and faculty mobility programs and the development of joint degree offerings across select aligned disciplines—including business and management, computer and information systems, culinary arts, and creative arts.
These initiatives aim to foster cross-cultural learning experiences, enhance academic and professional competencies, and create pathways for Benildeans to engage with global education systems through immersive exchanges and co-designed programs.
To formalize this collaboration, Benilde and Red River College Polytechnic have agreed to hold an official Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing during the Canadian delegation’s visit to the Philippines on October 2, 2024.
This partnership marks another milestone in Benilde’s ongoing mission to build bridges of international cooperation, ensuring its students and faculty continue to thrive in an interconnected and ever-evolving global landscape.
